I had a decent stay at Vatica Hotel Dongdaemun for five nights. The location was great, close to an old market and several tourist spots. which made exploring easy. The room was comfortable, and I appreciated the good WiFi, although the TV settings were entirely in Korean, making it a bit tricky to navigate. The staff primarily spoke Korean, so I often relied on a translation app to communicate, except for a friendly female receptionist during the day who could converse a bit in English.
